Alaska Native Plant Society

(ANPS)

The Alaska Native Plant Society (ANPS) was formed in 1982 by a small group of amateur and professional botanists for the purpose of disseminating information on Alaska's native flora to all interested persons. We accomplish this through:

1) Monthly meetings, 1st Monday of each month, October through May, 7:30PM at the Campbell Creek Science Center, Anchorage. All interested persons are welcome.

2) Field Trips, ranging from 1/2 day local outings, to multi-day excursions throughout Alaska. Some prior trips have been to Kodiak, Seldovia, Chitina / Kennicott, and Denali National Park.

3) Displays at local malls during "Celebrating Wildflowers" periods.

4) Publication of a monthly newsletter for members, October through May.
